GE Health Care is the one of the 5 divisions of General Electric, is the world market leader in the production of modern medical technologies and equipment.

Its products include CT scanners, X-rays, magnetic resonance devices, isotope gamma cameras, equipment for mammography examinations, and ultrasound and radiation medical devices.

Since April 2009, the GMS company has added a new partner, the German company Implant Cast.

Implant Cast was founded in 1988 and today is considered one of the leading brands of orthopedic products. Implant Cast cooperates with 38 international companies, among which the company GMS was added on behalf of Georgia.

IC manufactures various types of products for hip and knee endoprosthesis, as well as shoulder and elbow, small and revision joint endoprosthesis.

Biotechni

Starting from 2014, GMS Group is official representative of Biotechni in Georgia.

Created by Serge Calamel in Marseille in 1984, Biotechni is a french manufacturer of orthopedic implants, specialized in hip, shoulder and spine surgery.

Biotechni is recognized as an innovative, reliable french player and engaged in orthopedic surgery.

Holder of several patents and brands, Biotechni continues to develop and improve its products in collaboration with french and international medical teams.

In this constantly evolving and very competitive field, Biotechni has managed to keep its independence in order to be able to make its own choices.

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics is an in vitro diagnostics company that makes products and diagnostic equipment for blood testing. Ortho serves two primary industries in the medical field: clinical laboratories, by producing platforms and assays that test for a variety of diseases, conditions, and substances; and immunohematology, by providing the means to ensure blood transfusion recipients receive appropriate and compatible blood.

Johnson and Johnson acquired Eastman Kodak’s Clinical Diagnostics Division in 1994 (to form Johnson & Johnson Clinical Diagnostics), which was then merged with Ortho Diagnostic Systems in 1997. Ortho’s global corporate offices are in Raritan, New Jersey, while their global research and development center is in Rochester, New York.

In 2014, The Carlyle Group purchased the company from Johnson & Johnson for $4.15 billion. Ortho Clinical Diagnostics now operated as an independent company.
